The North County Police Cooperative’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations handles all of the major criminal investigations for our Police Department. From the moment they are called out, they work the investigation from start to finish. Our Detective Bureau has an excellent clearance rate for the investigations they handle. By continuing to build community relationships and partnerships to maintain those high clearance rates. Our investigators are also members of the St. Louis Major Case Squad. This unit is a collaborative of investigators from several departments around St. Louis. They come together to help investigate major incidents when called upon.
Lt. Dawain Wallace
- Lt. Wallace has twenty-one (21) years police experience and has been with the NCPC for eight (8) months.
- Lt. Wallace is the Commander of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).
- Lt. Wallace’s prior police commissions was with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for twenty (20) years.
- Lt. Wallace has received numerous awards, certificates and letters of appreciation during his career.
- When asked about the concept of the North County Police Cooperative, Lt. Wallace said, “I truly enjoy working for a police department where the motto is Community First”
