Patrol is the back bone of our Police Department. At the North County Police Cooperative, we maintain a high visibility in all the communities that we patrol. Our patrol division works around the clock providing the highest level of professional police services and protection to every community that we serve. They are the first responders to motor vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, criminal complaints, and calls for assistance. Each patrol platoon is supervised by a sergeant and a lieutenant. To provide the best possible service to our communities, we have officers trained in special areas such as field training officers, crisis intervention training, accident investigation, drugs and narcotic investigations, and DWI investigation to name a few. The Patrol Division works closely with each Mayor so that each city feels that they have their own Police Department and own identity
